Eton Materials
Status
The Eton Materials, LLC property consists of approximately 115 forested acres located about three miles south of the Tennessee—Georgia state line, near the unincorporated community of Cisco in Murray County, Georgia. The property is just one mile west of the boundary of the Chattahoochee National Forest and the Cohutta Wildlife Management Area, located immediately within the National Forest boundaries. The property features planted pine as well as a matrix of Southern Ridge and Valley Dry Calcareous Forest and Allegheny-Cumberland Dry Oak Forest. The property is within an important watershed, the Conasauga River system, which is home to a number of endangered species and is of conservation concern for both Georgia and Tennessee.
Preserving the property’s natural and scenic qualities creates an ecological and aesthetic buffer in the region as the threat of urbanization and habitat loss increases.
Please note that Eton Materials real estate has been sold – You must contact the current landowner for access. Despite the sale, the Conservation Easement remains in perpetuity.

Deed of Conservation Easement and Declaration of Restrictive Covenants
On December 21st, 2018, the owners of Eton Materials, LLC signed a “Deed of Conservation Easement and Declaration of Restrictive Covenants” (BK:914 PG: 437-475, Superior Court, Murray County). The grantee of the deed is Foothills Land Conservancy, a Tennessee non-profit corporation.
