About

The Joshua Creek Nutrient Offset and Riparian Buffer Mitigation Bank (Bank) is located in Lenoir County approximately 10 miles south of Kinston off of Elm Grove Road. The Bank Parcel Development Package (BPDP) was approved under the Joshua Creek Mitigation Banking Instrument (MBI) by the NC Division of Water Resources (DWR) in 2023. The BPDP is approved in the service area designated by Neuse River Basin HUC 03020204. The Bank is approximately 29.2 acres (1,270,354 ft2) of a combined 150 acre tract situated along the banks of Joshua Creek, a direct tributary to the Trent River.
